Quilt Batting
Batting (also known as wadding in the United Kingdom or filler) is a layer of insulation used in quilting between a top layer of patchwork and a bottom layer of backing material. Batting is usually made of cotton, polyester, and/or wool.
Very Popular batting nowdays is Alpaca .. it is very warm and has a nice softness to it.. when put in a quilt. You can get this cut to size or just enough for a square so you may want to use it on a potholder of some other craft that you decided to do even a place mat or wall hanging.. small or large this batting gives your quilt insides the ability to keep you warm covered with it or to keep a pot from burning your table.
