Crazy Quilting - The Complete Guide Crazy Quilting - The Complete Guide

Michler's Crazy Quilting, the Complete Guide, offers a nice overview of crazy quilt techniques. Quite a bit of the book is dedicated to the finishing stitches which was somewhat disappointing to me - I wanted just the crazy quilting techniques. I turn to Judith Montano's Elegant Stitches for stitchwork. That said, having both books will give you a complete library for this form of quilting. By the way - I love spiral-bound hard-back books!

I didn't expect so much information on crazy quilting, from learning how to make silk rosebuds to almost every embroidery stitch there is. It is for those who want to take time to create a treasure that will last for lifetimes. Incredibly creative and beautiful illustrations.

I am teaching myself crazy quilting and needed a basic book including embroidery stitches. This book fills my needs and lots more. The pictures are beautiful, the directions are clear and the pictures of the stitches are quite useful. This is the Victorian type crazy quilt that uses satin and lace, with added beads and other items. It is an easy form of quilting that goes together really quickly, using small pieces of fabric. The fun is in the stitching, if you enjoy embroidery. It's really fun.

I bought this book because I am making my first crazy quilt. The embellishing techniques explained in this book are easy to understand and the pictures are inspirational. I can't imagine making a quilt without this guide book.

This is definitly the book to buy if you're interested in embellished crazy quilts of every type and size. I showed it to a friend and she immediately purchased one. Tremendous reference for various stitches Anne
